Every year FAME, an organization for media specialists and librarians across Florida, chooses a list of 15 young adult literature books that students across the state read and vote on. Each student is encouraged to read at least 3 books from the list before voting. The winner is named at the end of the school year. Look for the logo at the left on the spine of the books in the media center for this year's nominees! Check out the winners from previous years in the column to the left!

Our mission is to ensure that all students and staff are effective users of ideas and information by providing resources that help all students achieve information literacy and contribute to  lifelong learning. We will provide a collection of diverse learning resources that represent a wide range of subjects and levels of difficulty, allow intellectual and physical access to materials in all formats and in all areas of the curriculum and provide instruction that fosters competence in using media centers and stimulates interest in reading, viewing, and using information.
